The shareprice is taking the scenic route at the moment, the passengers are enjoying some spectacular scenery as they wind their way to their destination. Interesting owens group is suffering, citing more competition for freight in NZ. Transrail must figure in that competition and is hopefully taking some of owens portion. Where i work i can see the lines just to the west of chch rail station, the amount of freight going past seems to have increased somewhat over the last year. If the holdups i have to endure at the level crossing most afternoons are anything to go by volume is picking up. Wouldnt be suprised to see transrail form closer links with one of the road transport firms in the near future, could be a useful alliance there somewhere. I expect the price to pick up more towards the end of the year, the next result probably will not be too flash as restructuring costs will still dominate. There appears to be plenty of institutional buying occuring at the moment, taking advantage of the undervalued shareprice ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/chat/forum/
