The train is shortly to
leave the station. The astute fundamental investors are already occupying the
first class compartment and starting on the gin and tonics. Those new to train
travel are still arriving, many will find standing room only.
The technical analysts are still queuing at
the ticket office, many will arive so late they will be chasing the train down
the platform. Most of these will be unecumbered by luggage as they will be
allighting at the first stop.
This contrasts starkly with the first class
passengers, baggage racks are overflowing as they anticipate staying on board
for the entire journey,
The ticket collecter is complaining
about the behavior of the technical analysts, apparantly on the last trip many
were so worried they might miss their stop they were jumping from the moving
train. One wag even pulled the emergency stop much to the consternation of the
group of long term investors.
Hopefully this years trip will be a
more enjoyable one for all, there may be a slight delay while we wait for
the brakes to be released at 3.91, so get yourselves down to the station and hop
on board before its too late.
Nick
