Hi Phyllis,
The best book on candlesticks for beginners that I
have found is Louise Bedfords "Secrets of Candlestick charting" (or secrets of
Japanese Candlesticks).
It is very good in that it goes into the psychology
of the formation of candlesticks. It also touches on support/resistance
etc.
Ideal for coming to grips with why or how they
work.
