Whatever you do, beware of Chinese shares offered to you at 'special rates' by people who contact you out of the blue.

 

There is a current scam running where promoters sell you shares in Chinese companies and you either never receive the shares, or you find you can't sell them again, or they plummet to 10% of their value overnight.

 

Chinanet holdings promoted by Berkely Samson is one such example.

 

In general I would consider any Chinese shares 'highly speculative'

1. How does one investigate this theory in relation to share development

2. How does one investigate this particular type of share on the Nasdaq, i.e web sites , brokers etc.

3. Any comments would be welcome
