Funtastic are a toy re seller who have the distribution rights to some
Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings merchandise. They also distribute
other favorite toy brands such as Little Tykes, Bob the Builder and
Banana's in Pyjamas etc.
The stock has been appreciating well over the last 3 months on heavy
volumes.
Its a small cap in Australia (32mil) and has not really had the attention
it deserves.
The company is well managed, has a sound profit record (albeit small),
reasonable dividend yield (5.8%) and a PE well below its pears (retail
sector)
Fantastic are also moving into exporting their own developed products
which should alleviate their currency exposure (they have to buy most of
their stock from the US)
Fundamentally they look sound, technically they look like they are in an
uptrend, draw your own conclusions.
