On 15 August, 2001, I recommended this
stock:
I bought some @ $4.03 and took part in the 1:9
cash issue @ $3.10. This money was used to form a company in the
UK. CLI bought a number of properties there with rental periods of 15-20
years, blue chip tenants.
In the UK, it is compulsary beyond age 75 to
purchase annuities. CLI has applied for a licence that will allow it to offer
annuities : See pages 21, 22 of the 2001 annual report. This 107 page
report is read in pdf format on their web site:
On 30 Sept. 2001, I forwarded this
post:
Friends and I bought a considerable amount of stock
@ $2.40 -$ 2.60. We were very confident that we would see some good price
rises.
And there were! CLI is now $3.48 and still has a
lot of ground to make up.
My views have not changed and I still consider CLI
to be worth more than $7.
The Annual meeting is on 22 Nov.
2001.
