Once the amendment has been passed at the AGM later this month you will be entitled to purchase 1 Spectrum share @ 6c for each option owned and you will have until 31 March 2004 to to do this. SPE options can be bought and sold on the NZSE just like ordinary shares. Their code is SPEOB. The options are "worth a go" if you think that the price of the SPE shares will exceed 6c by 31/3/2004. Is 0.4c (their last sale price) expensive? Well you can get 25000 for $100 so I think not. Each company that issues options sets their own transfer price, expiry date and conditions but the principle remains the same for each of them . : "not important" <cullen150@yahoo.com> To: "sharechat" <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> Sent: Wednesday, October 10, 2001 5:25 PM Subject: [sharechat] SPE options > Could somebody please explain what these options are > or what they entitle one to. > Can they be bought and sold like 'normal' shares. > Could they be worth a go?
