My post of 23 Sept. 2001, refers.
There are some massive fleets with planes and
marines to tackle anything worth doing.
Reports are coming through which indicate that
little use may be made of the weaponry after all!
News items say that full-scale bombing may not
be suitable and " that other methods will be more appropriate ".
I would not be surprised that a deal was done
between the Saudis and US: Quite suddenly, they broke off relations
with Afghanistan!
It is clear that the US will need to work with the
Gulf States which after all, have the oil and can regulate prices.
The question is: After the dramatic
preparation of the American people and the large show of force,
will some ships come home again?
As far as the markets is concerned, the latest
change of tactics - whatever it is - could be good for the
sharemarkets!
