There are some interesting news items:

Saudi Arabia has broken off relations with Afghanistan leaving only Pakistan to talk with!

The Talibans are isolated politically and military, and some say, financially as well.

The Russians will support the Afghan opposition with guns and one Opposition leader thinks that he can get plenty of fighters.

One hopes that this is true. In that case, the Opposition can be allowed to conduct the ground war while the US will give them aerial cover! That should prevent a lot of American infantry casualties!

These developments could steady the share markets!
