From Stockness, 10.30 am.: The original issue of $
1.5 Bill. shares has been enlarged to $ 1.7 Bill. due to overwhelming demand by
institutions.
The issue to retail investors will be at the same
price ( $ A 2.85 ) on the basis of 1:1.7 ( Eg. if you have
1700 share now, you will be entitled to another 1000 shares on payment of $ A
2850-.
Apparently, the cash has to be forwarded before
Oct. 5. 2001.
At this stage, there are no further details.
Please check the details of this
offer.
From Egoli: There is speculation that this deal by
MIG could add 50 cents to the share price. It is likely that it will be
added to the 20 index and this in itself will bring out
some buying from those who are indexed and may want more.
I don't know if MIG is already in the
MSCI INDEX ( This is a powerfull global index ), and if not, will it be eligible to join.
Latest: Initially up 18 cents to $ 3.38, now $
3.32.
