They seem to be able to crank out the profits at will! Now that the 'competition' from "Baycorp Advantage" is going offshore, is Sky City NZs best share? I suppose when a company looks like it can do no wrong, we must be a little vigilant. Was there any specific comment on the Queenstown casino? That is the one town where they have real competition (from the Skyline Casino). The Casino workforce in Auckland looks to be getting a bit militant, seeing big profit increases rolling in for the shareholders, yet constraned to relatively modest wage increases themselves. How do the working conditions/pay at Sky City Casino compare with other hospitality industry jobs in Auckland? Anyone like to comment?
