As you mentioned there was no buyback notice for
Friday Aug 10.
If Rubicon are to be included in the NZSE40 as of
Monday Aug 13 could it be possible that Rubicon will not buy again until the
Index managers have bought their position up to their required level.That way
they are not competing unnecessarily as there seems to be plenty of sellers at
79 - 80 cps. This may explain the wider trading range on Friday 78 - 81 cps. We
could see the price holding in the upper range for a few days then returning to
the 79 - 80 cps spread as was the case for most of last week.
