Phil - you did a really good
post a few weeks ago comparing the wealth creation abilities of BCH and WAM.
Following the dialogue between youself and Snoopy on the message board about
thinhs like ROIC and EVA etc has also been interesting.
Baycorp need to be congratulated
to taking the company to the stage it has. With a market cap over $1.1B it sure
has added many hundreds of millions of market value to its
shareeholders.
Now BCH have merged with DAD the
business goes to another level and it will be interesting to see how things pan
out.
Phil - I think you will be
intrigued witht the outcome if you did the same exercise, the one you did on
BCH, on DAD. You could then construct a consolidated case to see how the merged
Baycorp Advantage looks. The question is whether a merged outfit is going to
create the saame degree of wealth that Baycorp has in the past.
I'd appreciate your
views.
