The best feature of the Sharechat site is its emphasis on functionality over presentation. Its use of , amongst other things, minimal imagery and text links mean high page download speeds. Its use of simple HTML features mean that almost all browsers can resolve and display web pages quickly and consistently.
If only the hosts of other web sites applied the Sharechat formula, the web would be a far easier place surf. If you are involved in the commissioning of web sites you should copy the Sharechat model, i.e. minimal use of bandwidth hogging images and animation's.
Are you involved in commissioning a web site? If so you should tell the site developers that you will be doing commissioning testing on a web server located in a remote farm house at the end of a very long Telecom cable. Watch the colour drain from their faces.
Many happy returns to the Sharechat team.
