Hi Malcolm
Mexico's IPC is only one I see better..by 3 or 4% over same period (cap
index not gross) but longer term NZ40 CAP down fractionally from 5 years
ago compared to Dow up 90% and Nasdaq up about 80 odd %.
Looks like the insanity of the US markets is alive and kicking. Motorola
lose $769 million but say things look better! Where abouts?  Microsoft
see revenues up a couple of hundred million, write off 2.6 billion and
it's soaring after hours....along with almost everything else. Cisco,
Intel and telecoms so maybe a nudge for Telecom tomorrow. Should be some
nice trades tonight. It's crazy, but you gotta love it eh?  This is a
traders dream...nice (false) earnings rally for next 3-4 weeks, then
back we come.
