Very interesting article in
todays Sunday star times
refering to the
MSCI and their rerating system.
Baycorp, Skycity among
some others will look to benefit from
this.
Conversely Cah is among
a few who might be adversely affected, (
not to mention their touted upcoming
poor sales figures , alluded to by
Chris Liddell ceo.
Might be worth noting
for those who are traders the upcoming
dates at which the reratings take
place.
Arthur Lim states the next
trigger point for index reratings to impact
on share prices are the following
dates
the last two weeks
in september.
and immediately before
the november 31, and may31
2002 index deadlines.
would be interesting to
follow cah and others affected to see
if any patterns are formed.
