Of course you are right. Well you could make a little bit of money here then. When SPE rights were trading I remember getting an e-mail from my broker that they will waive the minimum brokerage fee for me, then sold my ordinary shares and then bought the rights + application money which saved me a few hundred dollars. It depends which broker you use to expect proper explanation of rights trading. I recommend calling your broker and asking him/her in detail about the Cabletalk rights trading. If your prices are right and you are already a Cabletalk shareholder you could save some money if your broker agrees to a lower fee.
