Good on you David-I agree with everything that you
say.
The sooner that NZers wake up to the FACT that
shares will (over time)provide a much greater return than property investments
the better for them.
The much higher every NZers standard of living will
also be -as investment funds are funnelled into NZ businesses.
Most kiwis are still living in the past.Returns on
property seemed massive over the last 30 or so years.THE FACTS-Average capital
gain on residential houses-10%-Average inflation 8%.A 2% real return-Absolutely
dismal !!!!
RISK-hell !!!...people have lost all their money on
houses recently-eg.Buy a house in Auckland 5 years ago-178,000-deposit of
20,000......now having to sell after 5yrs-sell price-147,000-Losing all the
capital plus lots more !!!!!-REAL STORY!!!!!
Give me yhe safety of good share picking
anyday!!!!!!!!
REGARD ALL-even the property
pumpers....
