Hall Family - this may help from the NZSE - The NZSE10 Index comprises selected securities of the top ten listed companies which qualify as constituent companies of the NZSE10 Index. The index reflects the movement of prices in the selected securities of the ten stocks which account for the majority of turnover on the NZSE. The Index covers the 10 largest and most liquid issuers with equity securities quoted on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. The float capital of each company is established by removing all known blocks of shares held, or more-or-less controlled, by one person or a group of related persons and amounting to 30% or more of the share capital. This reflects as nearly as is practical, the stock normally available to investors. The stocks that make up the top 10 are reviewed regularly in line with this criteria.
