AFFCO's freezers are bulging with unsold stock
Supposition 2.
It will mainly be grinding beef destined for the U S market.
There is currently a procurement war for livestock with North Island
processors transporting beef livestock from the South Island. Why they
would be competing to secure as much product as possible to sell into a
soft market beats me. But then, since when has the meat industry ever acknowledged
economic reality.
