Readers,
Web sites supporting this
topic are:
Click on News &
Views ( on the left of
page).
Resulting page will show the latest Company news
and comment. It is being updated throughout the day!
A ' must have' site for
investment in Australia !!
Item " Australian news " will give the AX releases
as they come through. The site is more convenient than the AX site, as one
can scroll a single page of the day's releases.
To obtain any AX release, click on the line
with the news: Clicking on the code
name will give you trading data, depth of trading, graphs and
other data.
Stockness is another valuable "fast and free
site"!!
Sometimes, the final hours of releases
are not listed; in that case, move to < www.tradingroom.com.au
> That site is somewhat cumbersome. The last AX
release tends to be between 8 and 9 pm, AE time.
A very powerful site ! Lists
investment and unit trusts, their managers and background, links to the
trusts, prices and latest news.
They quote 1833 dominant
International trusts with up to 5 years performance. A must
have site!
< www.sharechat.co.nz > The
top toolbar of this Forum and other pages has an item: "
Education " . Click on this and on the left are " NZSE
Company Links " and " ASX Company Links
".
These links will connect you to the Companies' web
sites! A high quality
educational feature!
NB: The Home page of ShareChat has
links to international newspapers and other sites!
< www.alltheweb.com > A very
powerful search engine for investors!!! Response
time tends to be a fraction of a second !!!
There are two boxes to refer to: The '
Search For ' box is very sensitive!
I tend to use " All the words " or " The exact
words ". The latter requires an exact
entry: often the word " Limited " or " Ltd "
are left out on web sites. If it is part of
the company's registration, then - most of the time - it
needs to be entered!
Summary: Obviously, there are other
sites. However, the above mentioned sites are of
high quality, are " fast ", free, and are
quickly updated! Registration is not needed and one does not get
unwanted email!
They will be included In the " Books and Web
sites " edition. ( I already have a list of titles from contributors
).
There are up to two pages left to
write under the current topic. The resulting five
installments are continuous and should be read as such!
