Overall a good month for most punters with 63 portfolios making money in the month and only 12 losers. Top Five: Is it all over bar the shouting? Of course not but Chris Castle buoyed by his inspired (so far) pick of APF has cleared out from the field. His $50k portfolio is now worth over $92k! Obviously Chris’s column in the business section of the Sunday Star Times needs to be read with a great deal of respect. Still we have a long way to go and anything might happen. The rest seem to be sorting themselves out with no movement in the Top Five apart from John Ascroft and Marilyn Munroe changing places at numbers 3 and 4. Winners: Adrienne O’ Sullivan up 30 to 39 (SVY) Ted up 14 to 34 Phil Ericson up 13 to 32 Michael Trail up 11 to 28 Gary Williams up 11 to 29 Losers: Deutsche Bank down 28 to 45 (SKY, TRH, WDT) Malcolm Cameron down 19 to 43 Paul Frost down 13 to 46 Iccon down 12 to 66 Matthew Van Veen down 12 to 62 Best Broker ABN AMRO $57,885 (6) Worst Broker D F Mainland $40,424 (74) dishonourable mention UBS Warburg (72) Share Gainers SVY 241% APF 53.7% RCH 35.1% SCL 14.9% SMR 14.5% Share losers: OTR 23.0% WDT 21.2% SPE 16.7% CGB 13.3% AQL 13.3% Dividends FBU, CDI, CDL, CMO, KIP, WHS, NUF, GPG, FCT, HLG, NTH, TLS If I have missed any please let me know.
