Gerry
- you certainly come up with some interesting stocks to take a look
at.
This
Micromedical Industries (MMD)
sure have some great developments.
I had
to admire the amount of information they have put on their website for investors
to have a look at.
They
have recently undertaken a road show and the full presentation they made has
been posted. In addition a recent letter to shareholders keeping them up to date
with progress.
Such
communication is fantastic - something other companies should take notice
of.
I couldn't resist looking at the
MMD chart.
If you ignore the silly tech boom
in late 1999 and early 2000 when prices went crazy (MMD went over 90 cents at
one stage) the MMD has been trending upward since late 1998.
Over the last year there has been
new closing highs of 40 cents on 18 Aug, 41 cents on 10 July, 45 cents on 7 Aug
and 52 cents on 6 Feb. Continuation of this upward trend would have a
price of 60 cents by end of June.
However based on activity over
the last week the 60 cents could happen earlier. I see today that they closed at
52 cents on very high volumes ( over 800,000 shares).
Pretty strong buying over the
last few weeks. As you say a lot of the risk/downside has gone from this stock.
Some of their innovative technology appear to be in later stages of development
and close to coming to fruition. In addition sales of their other devices are
increasing.
This stock is worth a look at .
If something exciting did happen with their developments plenty of upside
potential - and that will make the chart look a lot
different!
Gerry - keep us informed of this
stock.
Cheers
Peter
