Gerry.
Keith,
Thanks!
Yes, that report took about 14 hours
work:
Saturday:
An hour or so to study anything new.
An hour to study the share issues made and do the
weighting; making an allowance for some $ A 20 mill. or so, cash, CLH is
still holding from their March issue - BCH is just about paying out their
total profit every year.
Conversion of existing BCH data to
Australian currency.
An hour to design the layout.
An hour to consult P. Maiden on his charting. Can
we extract anything what can be used?
Four hours to type and do the calculations
as work progresses.
Sunday:
Two hours : typing and calculations
Two hours: Editing, rechecking of all
calculations, rewriting bits and pieces in the script, cut
out pieces which are not essential, cut out other content
which may not be precise.
After a spell:
One hour: Have a breather and go over the script
once again; are there ways of shortening the script? Do some other words need
underlining or bold letters? Do references tie in?
One hour: Email report
to ShareChat first. Enter extracts on one Aussie site.
Email report to a couple of NZ brokers and some friends. Tomorrow: email to an
Australian broker.
And that does not include the time
thinking about any key phrases to use and making little notes following
some inspirational ideas!
Although I am happy to do this type of
work, it is always difficult: There are big stakes involved and
if events turn out quite differently, one not only loses one's
prestige but people will lose their savings as well.
Sofar, the Australian recommendations have
performed well; unfortunately, LACO has drifted
back. We are waiting to see what LAC is going to do with their remaining $A
350 mill. cash! No news from TAB either!
CLH was recommended in Nov.
2000, when it was $A 1.73. I like to see it
rise to about $A 5.20 in Nov. this year, three times the initial
price in one year!
And to those readers who invested in this stock:
I wish you a good ride!
You made my day,
Keith!
Gerry
