Yes but fair is foul & foul is fair.

For example, last Friday I posted that I thought Strathmore was worth
looking at (ie buying). Yet I had no Strathmore shares. 

Was I worried that this may effect the shareprice so that I wouldn't be
able to buy when the market opened on Tuesday? 

No because I don't think that this forum can effect shareprices like that.
So on Tuesday first thing I managed to buy Strathmore at 6.3c - the same
that it traded for on the Thursday before Easter. 

Therefore I wouldn't be worried too much about ulterior motives. But it
would be dangerous to take advice on this forum without your own
independent research anyway.  I think that this forum is just a way of
sharing ideas. That way we can all become better investors.
