investments of past decade - best in next?
I was reading an article in the New Yorker today.
About the value of Gold over a twenty year period.
from 1980 to 2000
I think while the dow went from 800 to 10,000,
gold went from $820/oz to about $160
That must be hard to beat ?

Some holiday fun,
lets see if we can find the
worst/best investments of the last decade (not
stock specific
ie aql dosent count lol). Also what are
likely to be the
best and worst of next decade.
I will start the ball rolling with telephone cards.
Remember them? anyone going to an
auction around 6 or
7 years ago would of seen these changing hands
for hundreds
of dollars , that didnt last long
though.
Wine would have to of been one of
the better investments.
As
for the future how about olive plantations to be
good and tree planting schemes
bad
ps what happened to ostrich
farming?
