There is no doubt that 1999/2000 bred and created a new generation of suckers - who in many cases have lost not only their shirts but more important, their pride as well. Not too many of those individuals would now admit to ever being a trader now of course. Comments attempting to rub salt into their wounds however are inappropriate. Every sharemarket boom going back 100 years has always needed the aggressive speculators to drive the boom - every boom also creates speculators. Unfortunately many of those speculators are but youngsters who inevitably learn the hard way that there is more to investing than simply buying and selling shares .... Think of how boring the markets would have been without their activity ... The trick of course is for the seasoned investors to take advantage of the opportunities created by the speculators. Those who are attempting to rub salt ... did you benefit from their activities? Or were you simply a bystander who was green with envy by the short term money made by them .... It is often said and is so true - 'It is better to have loved and lost than not to at all!' _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors http://www.netbroker.co.nz/ Trade on Credit, Low Brokerage.
