Sure, I agree that the last six months of last year
were not quite as good as the previous six.When you take into account that DMB
is a New Zealand focused manufacturer (and now Australian-with profits!!!)
and the general feeling prevailing due to the negative sentiment from mid
2000 to year end, it was not unexpected that trading conditions were a little
tougher.This negative talk-that is all it was- is now shown to be
incorrect-Garreth Morgan-the man wheeled out when things get a fraction tough-is
now VERY quiet.Business spending confidence was certainly shaken by "the sky is
falling brigade"of late last year.
Facts-
-Revenue has risen almost 50% in three
years.
-This years profits are around 200% improved on
last years.
-The New Zealand economy (main indicators) are
positive.
Ok-lets see what the situation is in six
months.........
