Watch the NASDAQ. Its now down to 21xx and still vastly overvalued. But what interests me is why the chartists never seem to have any answers to these questions....they write these books, run these courses, make knowing analyses in hindsight on the shape of their graphs when the graph has been completed....but ask them a real live question like the below and they're nowhere to be found or as full as ifs and buts as a crystal ball gazer. But then a moments sober reflection shows that inevitably they are bound to be wrong nearly all the time. Say they have a lovely head and shoulders graph of Telemedia emerging just onto the right shoulder....then Greenspan cuts the interest rate, Bush is assasinated, foot and mouth disease breaks out in N.Z. ...or, well anything really...and the head and shoulders disappears in a puff of smoke. Even if none of the above happens...simply the fact that a lovely head and shoulders graph is emerging guarantees that the traders etc will jump in and take advantage of it which ensures it won't be a head and shoulders graph. C'mon Margie, you paid to do that course on Waiheke in 'Technical Analysis &' a while ago.....you tell us what Telemedia is going to do. ---------- > From: richard hermans <r.m.hermans@xtra.co.nz> > To: sharechat@sharechat.co.nz > Subject: [sharechat] TMN > Date: Thursday, 1 March 2001 14:36 > > Why on earth are Telemedia down to 76c when they have just sighned a big > deal with an American telephone provider only yesturday????? > Some of these stocks are really at rock bottom !!!! > Interested in any answers ; Thanks Margie > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors > http://www.netbroker.co.nz/ Trade on Credit, Low Brokerage.
