NB: TEL and NEWS have a large segment of
the indices.
Comment: Australia is already in election
mode.
Since the last listing of Jan. 30, losses have
occurred in BCH, WAM, QBE and LACO. LAC is having a cash
issue at present.
QBE is to
report on March 14.
SKC has made an offer to mr.
Francis of FOR and we shall know the answer before March
6.
The key
stocks: AIA, CLH and
LACO will continue to do well in my opinion.
If SINGAPORE wants a controlling stake
of say 50.1 % in AIA, then it will need to offer at least $ 4.50 /
share!
AIA owns both land and buildings ! Key
tenants are moving in! Land values are rising
rapidly!
Today's CLH interim
announcement resulted in a rise of 10 cents in the share price. A solid
company!
Given time, could also be attractive to a
foreign buyer!
