Nick, The olympics was a cruel hoax, just like APEC which was also
supposedly a panacea for our tourist  economy.  A large number of  tourism
businesses were conned by  the "heavy bookings" airlines said they had.  A
week prior to the event there was still thousands of unsold tickets.  THL
management were not alone in getting it wrong.  Little consolation!!!
