Thanks, Snoopy,
A very lucid explanation of the facts.
Years ago, I "got caught" when I bought some
shares in an Australian company, run by somebody from
Honkong.
Since then, many "entrepreneurs" from that area
have tried to make a bob or two here, and initially, people got
caught when buying into their schemes.
Either many of these companies fall over while
registered in NZ, or the control and registration travels to the Far
East.
I have devised a very crude motto:
" Softly, softly, going
Easty, will be Losty !!! "
Obviously, some companies will be run properly,
which ones?
Come to think of it, many of
our companies are not that flash
either!
