Why is the
Brierley share price taking so long to respond to
the dramatic improvement in the shareprice of
Thistle hotels?
Thistle has jumped another 5% in the last two days
and now stands
at 1.60 pounds a share, a 12 month high for the
stock.
Sure there hasnt been much action at Brierleys in recent
months, however they are slowly putting themselves
in order, and their
portfolio is looking more promising than it has for
a very long time.
Looking at the high discount to nta it can only be
a matter of time before
this stock climbs to a more reasonable
level 45-50c a share.
At 35 cents there has
been some recent improvement but not much,
especially when it is the same price as a year
ago even though its main
asset (thistle) was trading at 60% lower levels
than it is now.
