Chuck Carlson mentioned that P/E(ev) is particularly useful when comparing companies within the same industry.

Were there any articles which point at any pitfalls per se?

You would think that the "one medicine cures all " approach may have some limitations, important as the concept is.

If there are no articles or available information is limited, then it is a perfect subject for the FIG Group!

A solid "shakedown" may bring some benefits! I feel that this is an urgent matter as it affects us all!
