I don't know anything about either of these companies but here
is something I received today on Telemedia
Telemedia announces its Biggest deal to date Telemedia has secured a massive AU$ 18 million –plus deal (US $ 10.2) with leading Japanese mobile telco TU-KA. Under the two-part deal, Telemedia will provide TU-KA with pre-pay mobile systems worth AU$12.2m during the coming year. The second part of the agreement, worth AU$6.7m will see Telemedia providing ongoing support services to TU-KA over the next four years. This is a highly significant contract for Telemedia: not only does it generate large revenue and profits, but Telemedia beat all its competitors for this business. Telemedia will be replacing one of its competitor’s existing pre-pay systems with its own system. Tu-Ka has over four million mobile subscribers in Japan and is one of the fastest growing Telco’s in the region. It is the market leader in prepaid mobile services, with almost one trillion subscribers. Telemedia’s advanced pre-paid system allows TU KA to replace three different systems with one integrated one. This agreement is the first major spin-off from Telemedia’s strategic relationship with KDDI, Japan’s second largest Telco, which owns TU KA. Telemedia has already announced deals worth AU$24.4m in this financial year and should have on-going revenue from previous contracts. This is more than the total revenue for last year. Half year results are due in February and will probably not include this latest deal, which brings revenue announced so far this year to AU$31.1m. Cheers Mike H
