um, there seems to be a new risk now; a stand off between Greenspan
and George W Bush. Greenspan won't cut interest rates because he sees
the big tax cuts coming out of left field as reckless and something that
has to be sized up before he'll act and George W Bush is just too
politically
committed and ornery to budge on his beloved tax cuts. Maybe leadership
will now move to the EU Cental Bank in this impasse.
