Jefley
I'm like you - not too knowledgeble but like reading peoples
comments etc.
IMO - I have a feeling Mr te rangi isn't a native of NZ.
His posts are "too well" spelled.

hamilton hindon green has also recommended wri -- i received their
newsletter today. these brokers say "buy for earnings growth from the
rural recovery and high dividend yield". their projected p/e is 8.1x and
projected gross div is 13.1 according to hhg.

enough to make one interested ...

what fascinating posts over the last five days. i've often felt obliged to
contribute or respond, even though i dont have strong knowledge or
opinions, but because i learn so much from those who do take time out to
share stuff. as a result, i reacted to the taupo? poster who groaned over
the 2001 thingee with "so, what do you offer".

the "super scheme" post from the amazing Dr Baskerville was pretty
gob-smacking -- i wish some of the knowledgable chatters would comment --
it seems more than a little scandalous to me.

i was also delighted to receive info from te rangi -- your previous posts
were always requests about stock i would never consider ... and the
possibility that your numeracy is as eccentric as your spelling and grammar
left me somewhat worried about the cuzzies' money ... did you take up any
of the other shares, and how have they worked out, te rangi?

the economics 101 (?) stuff under airlines was also great, as were the
comments from the former pharmacists about health and retirement companies.
may i suggest that more chatters biff in their fields of
expertise/experience when contributing stuff they really know something
about. (i've sometimes wondered if our generously contributing student
pathologist is actually on the right career path -- just joking phil.)

regards, jefley
