Hi Geoff
I can't see any reason why the gap between FFS and
FFSPA should be more than 1-2c unless Fletcher Forests looks like being
liquidated (extremely unlikely in my view).
The 61% take-up of rights was heartening, a lot better
than many doomsayers were forecasting.
You will have noticed the 2 shares tracking each other
within 1 cent since the start of trading for FFSPA on Thursday. Usually
FFSPA seems to have been leading the way, which is I guess what you would
expect.
And also, there is sometimes more volume in FFSPA than
FFS, but today is the opposite.
It's great how quickly this train is gathering momentum
though, and I for one am very glad I didn't sell out, but took up the rights and
got on board!
In fact it's a good day for the NZSE as a
whole.
Good luck to all of us who had the balls to stay in
during a very difficult year!
Cheers
Grant
