Geoff,
    Yes, some changes in their constitution are required I think to enable them to achieve that. Ironically if anything , you would expect an Aussie blue chip structured in such a favourable way for NZ shareholders , to if anything trade at a small premium , rather than the hefty discount. The discount was one of the main reasons I bought in, however it seems to be mainly the strong performance of the head share price in Aussie dragging the kiwi class up, rather than the kiwi class playing catch up to narrow the discount.

 About a month ago the management  muttered there displeasure about the  difference bettween AU / NZ share price and wish to address it.

After paying the $4.75 the price should immediately jump to $15.55, however at this level the price will still be around $2.46 or 16% below the theoretical value of $18.01 based on the Australian head share price. Perhaps the discount will narrow once the second instalment has been paid.
