Looked at the market depth for FCLFS on the ASX?
Close today at 19.5 and buyers waiting at 16, 17 and 18cents
Be interesting what the market depth in NZ is. Some stories of larg(ish)
orders at 22 and 23.
Did I read on this site (or the other one) the suggestion that maybe
'Fletchers are buying at 25 to keep it at that level at worst' - tut tut for
thinking that.
But then not long ago the Sydney Morning Herald reported of 'strong
unsubstantiated rumours that the Australian government were propping up the
Telstra price' when the second instalments became due - to keep the small
shareholders from revolting and to keep some political face with the
people.
Interesting thought - in a seemingly unregulated exchange.
