Re: [sharechat] ITC
There's plenty of start up's, ideas needing VC without having to expose
oneself to the "me too" dot com phenomenon.
ITC IMHO had it good for a period when things were "easy" and opportunities
knocked at your door - and VC's were ready to part with cash freely. Mark
my word, things are a lot tougher now and you have to do your homework - and
lots of it. Some different skills are also necessary to get it right. VC's
now seem to spend an enternity mulling over potential cash injections.
Just because it has got tougher, doesn't mean that you should necessarily
shut up shop though and look at the money in the bank as some sort of
benchmark of your success (and ply yourself with financial praise).
