hello danny and maureen
i'm holding onto my fletcher building -- it's current price is the lowest 
for ages -- i think the price will improve before xmas.  the whole fletcher 
barnyard is currently out of favour (deservedly, read the forum archives 
for the last month on fletcher anything), and it's october.

it has a good dividend yield, and building continues ...

the sort of questions you need to ask yourself are: do you need the money, 
do you have something better to invest the money in, will you be taking a 
loss, will a loss haunt you, how much profit is "enough", is doing nothing 
better than doing something, etc.

having said all that, my portfolio is in shocking shape.  i cant decide 
whether i ask myself the wrong questions or just give myself the wrong 
answers ...  discuss with a broker, but remember that they also regularly 
stuff up the question-answer routine. regards, jefley
