Heather, I don't know much detail about the financials of WDT but as far as the product is concerned brushless motors and the fact that it can be incorporated into appliances etc with much more flexibility than the usual cylindrical shaped motors, plus their quietness, must be appealing in an age where portability and miniaturatisation are increasingly important selling points. Plus the company has some good business relationships which should provide exposure to bigger overseas manufacturers in the future. WDT has said the move to a main board listing will give it more cred when dealing with international clients, so in terms of growth it could be a chicken and egg situation ie once it is main board listed, it will get even more business. It has built up its engineering side of the business and is now looking at more marketing/sales growth, so now could be a good time to get on board.
Cheers, Phil Boeyen
(disc: do not hold WDT)
Thanks Phil
I have checked this site out, however the information stops at the 1999 financial year.
What do you reckon about WDT for a punt before their Annual report is released and their possible listing on the big boys market?
Cheers
Heather
