Dear Share Chatters,

I am posting to get an idea of the people interested in becoming involved in
a group of us. There has been some discussion on this board recently about
this. Our idea was to develop ideas and tools to identify good companies
that will deliver long term growth. We then want to make the system
understandable to all comers, and make it a system that everyone can use
whether they be people who have just come into the market or those who have
been around for a while and want to investigate a different way of doing
things.

We are going to use the ideas developed by people such as Buffet, Munger,
Fisher and other well known people to help us with our task. Sites which
promote these strategies include www.fool.com and www.focusinvestor.com .

We don't claim to be experts or have any qualifications in this but we have
done extensive reading and are confident of the methods and strategies used
by people in this field.

I am busy with exams over the next week or so and Brian Brakenridge is also
very busy for the next fortnight or so, so things may be quiet for a time
but we are motivated people who believe in this project and the benefit it
can have to all involved.

I was hoping that those interested would send me a note and then we could
see how much support there was out there. I believe that a better job can be
done of this if there is contribution from a number of people.
