To all those following the Buffet/Focus Investor thread, It is a Friday night and I thought I would take a break and do some of the work on the table. I have come across a potential area of uncertainty when allocating the points. As far as awarding points on the perceived adequacy of management I thought that every company would get a 2, on the 1,2,3 scale, except those that there was a consensus amongst people that management was particularly bad or particularly good. So I call for some suggests as to companies who people believe have extraordinarily good and extraordinarily bad management, now don't all you Fletcher Challenge shareholders pipe up at once, but I was also looking for good companies. Also bear in mind that I am trying to examine all the NZSE40, although many will not make the grade for a number of reasons. I will start with some suggestions that you can see what you think of: Good: Baycorp Holdings Ltd. Bad: On second thoughts maybe people should mail me directly.
