Forests shares plunge as angry investors vote with their feet
Angry Fletcher Forests shareholders, many feeling they have been "screwed" 
by the long-awaited Fletcher Challenge breakup plan, will not even get to 
vote on it.  FCL directors have cunningly side-stepped the necessity of 
getting 75%-plus approval from the division's shareholders by keeping 
Fletcher Forests within the old group structure.

allegations but is facing new embarrassment as police launch an 
investigation into $50,000 missing from the casino after a long-serving

Telecom tries to rescue battered share price
Telecom executives used the annual meeting yesterday to attempt to buoy up 
its share price from an 18-month low. In her first address as chief 
executive, Theresa Gattung lauded Australia as the highlight of the past 
year, with the purchase of telecommunications company AAPT and the deal 
securing the $A500 million five-year Commonwealth Bank telco contract.
