[sharechat] Re - PEs

Brian - does Buffett use PEG?

I quite like PEG for valuing a share, I use it for over a period of the last
3 to 5 years and try and go for below .7 as you suggested.

Looking at WHS - I have just pulled EPS from the WHS site - they are:

99 - 37.7c, 98 - 28c, 97 - 24.7c, 96 - 16.2c, 95 - 24.6c.

Over 5 years EPS growth is around 16% per year so a PE of 24 isn't so hot.
However if you miss out 96 & 95 EPS growth is 33% which gives PEG of .73
which isn't too bad.

( I havn't used 2000 because in the 2000 result release to the market it
says EPS this year is 24.3 and last year it was 18.9 - I guess now thinking
about it this takes into account the 1 for 1 bonus issue).
