Best manufacturing profits since 1995 
06 OCTOBER 2000

Manufacturing sector profits grew steadily during the June year, to record
the strongest growth since June 1995, the latest WestpacTrust quarterly
analysis of manufacturing for the June quarter shows.

IMHO it's about time the business community stopped whining amongst
themselves and got on with it. There's a lot of campaigning against the
current government when really there is not much difference between Labour
& National. Isn't the labour govt more right-wing than the British Tory
party?
