Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door. An old saying, but one which illuminates the current state of the technology sector in N. Z. We are faced with rash of publicity releases which on closer scrutiny are not all they promise. In fact some are out and out flim flam. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to identify a Kiwi Bill Gates who wants to develop and bring to market some killer application. If you invested in such a person you could help establish a profitable N. Z. business, provide employment for Kiwi's, and make some money for yourself. Unfortunately I would not trust any company in the N. Z. listed technology sector because of my perception of the credibility of publicity releases. I may be wrong, but it is my money, and I am holding on to it. So any Kiwi Bill Gates's out there, I am sorry it is going to be very hard to prise cash out of me to help you, because of what has gone on before.
