Why don't we complie a list of those companies known to provide shareholders with some benefit's to ownership. To start the ball rolling, I am aware that the following offer deals to shareholders from time to time: Montana Discounted wine Manor Inn Discounted room tarrifs Not very comprehensive to start with. How many other listed companies have offers for shareholders? Having such offers could provide some other little reward for shareholders. On the other hand are some companies missing a direct marketing opportunity to already converted and aware customers. Generally shareholders are the forgotten stakeholders in a company. I know customers reign supreme and as such deserve most of the attention. Small shareholders generally only get a shiny annual report and if they are lucky (and able to attend) some hospitality at the agm. Putting it another way for those watching the rugby over the weekend watch out for corporate boxes that many of these companies have at the grounds - spending shareholder money and not a shareholder in sight! Lest forbid bringing up the subject of when is a loss a loss etc again (and not picking on poor RBD again for any particular reason) would realised or unrealised losses be more palatable if shareholders got a few pizza's every year? - yuk! Maybe a Starbucks would be better. ........or for those 'green investors' what would they do with their bag of genetically modified grass seed from Wrightsons?
